“A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you.”
Nic has been doing professional camera work for the last 10 years, but he has been playing with the medium for more then 20 years.
He spend most of his time directing and shooting films, or editing commercial projects.
He has been more involved in Photography since 2005, when acquiring a studio space in Old Montreal.
This lead to the start of his first photo book compilation which was published in 2009. It features some amazing Model Mayhem models and actresses I’ve worked with.

While it's fascinating to see how many photographers are in Montreal, only a handful of them have a distinctive style, even less of them can make a living out of their passion.
Photographienic's unique style combines Pinups, Boudoir, Fetish, Art and Fashion together in a colorful way and has been features in many publications.

Why buy anything?
While the internet has giving acces to many visual content for free it's nothing like owning a copy on your book shelves of your favorite imagery.
When an artist believes in his art, he has to try to make a living out of it. This is why Nic assembeled together three photobooks.

This is the second edition of my first photobook.
It feature work from 2007-2009. In those years I was discovering what kind of photographer
I wanted to be and looking for the models to compliment my aspiration.
Some images have been reworked some replaced.
I wanted to keep it as close to the original while still giving it a final polish.
Like the Top hat collection with Anda or the Black paint mess with Dorothée

The second book features work that could be viewed as my own style plus an added touch of fetish influences.
From Madria's latex bathing suite to Youko Sunshines amazing poses and thorn black nylon and sleeves these
are some of the elements that now define my work combined often with extreme camera angles. Some erotic,
some going toward the Pin up themes.
One other element that sticks out of the work is the use of often dramatic coloring of the images.
As the poses, the angles and styling becomes edgy so those overall ambient mood

The second book features work that could be viewed as my own influence with a touch fashion influence of the year.
From Shiloh's Military fashion to L a u r e l l e and Yammel pushing the sailor theme the imagery tends to be display
some editorial qualities and again adding the Pin up influence to the mix. The exploration of high contrast lighting,
the more oriented fashion poses, the styling put tighter with a touch of art and passion.
